DRIES VAN NOTEN - Men

Born in Antwerp in 1958, Dries Van Noten is the third generation of a family of tailors. At the age of 18, Dries participated in the fashion design course at the Royal Academy in Antwerp. After graduating, he began working as a designer consultant before starting his menswear collection in 1986. The reaction was almost immediate with orders from prestigious clients such as Barneys New York, Pauw in Amsterdam and Whistles in London. In September of the same year, Dries opened a small boutique in the Antwerp gallery. The restoration covered many of the original systems and accessories, including its name. Dries Van Noten has presented collections for women and men since its inception. He celebrated his 50th fashion show in 2004 with a dinner for 500 guests, at a table that saw the catwalk for women. 2017 brings the 100th Van Noten fashion show in March. In 2007 Dries Van Noten opened his Parisian boutique for women, in 2009 from a store for two collections in the Aoyama district of Tokyo and in partnership with Tomorrowland.
