Every great story has a great start. This started in a small town in Bavaria, Germany. After the first steps in his mother's washing kitchen, Adi Dassler recorded the "Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik" in 1924 and began his mission to provide athletes with the best possible equipment. On August 18, 1949 he registered the "Adi Dassler adidas Sportschuhrikrik" and set to work with 47 employees in the small town of Herzogenaurach. On the same day, he recorded the shoe that included the registration of the adidas "3-Stripes" which will become the worldwide symbol of the company. The man who redefined the sporting goods industry almost by himself and raised the benchmark by a mile left behind a thriving society. The end of the Dassler era became the beginning of another where the children moved on to modern sports marketing revolutionizing the world of street style fashion.
